Shincliffe House Group

This is held in church members' homes in Shincliffe. All are welcome.

Our group currently numbers nine and we select study material which we follow on alternate Thursdays for limited periods.

Halliday Grove House Group

Our Tuesday morning group meets fortnightly in the Langley Moor area, from 10.15am - 12 noon.
It consists of 11 women, though that is not deliberate!

The meetings begin with a short time of worship followed by a study of Acts, starting at chapter 15 in September. Members find, in studying Acts, much of relevance for today and enjoy discussions.

We greatly value the input of every individual member and the fellowship we share.

New members will be warmly welcomed.

Brancepeth Close House Group

We meet fortnightly on a Monday evening, commencing 7.45p.m.  Our group consists of fourteen regular members. However, we often invite overseas students, who are attending our Church for the first time, to come and join us in our prayers and bible study if they wish to.

Our studies cover a variety of passages, chapters and books from the Bible.  Often our discussions, though thorough, are lively and entertaining.  Each session begins with prayer and concludes with the Grace, followed by refreshments (always beautifully presented by our hosts).

We usually have a break from Housegroup during July/August, but not before planning our annual outing. This is usually a day trip to a place of historic interest locally.

Our studies are interesting and our friendship and support for each other greatly valued. We extend a warm welcome to those who wish to join us.
